Now, this is all over the internet over the past week. Economic Times, BBC, CBS News, New York Times, Times of India, to name a few. Over 90 percent (91 - 98 % spread over 3 species) of the Vultures in India literally fell off the sky over two decades by the mid 90s because of a pain killer used on cattle which they supposedly rolled back in 2006.

So they put a dollar value on the human loss that resulted as a fallout. Get this, 69 Bn $ Per year. Human deaths, 500000 over 5 years. I bet youll recall that even if you didn't notice how the vultures have disappeared from India gate.

Vultures are on the way out everywhere, It's not just India. There's not one species that I've come across that's not endangered. The Human system does not place value on their utility. They're seen as scary, dirty, evil. Just think of how you'd feel if someone called you a vulture? It's kinda like the Indian Caste System. How'd you feel if someone called you a 'Jamadar'?

Problem is that the Human system does not have a replacement plan. Vultures are part of the only Miracle that is truly and easily visible every day, Mother Nature's System. Now when you tinker with the real system's balance. You will obviously pay the price.

Best of luck running your perceptional system without any sanitation workers around.
